We are a group of JKA Shotokan karate clubs in and around the Forth Valley area of central Scotland. JKAWFS is affiliated to the Japan Karate Association the largest karate organisation in the world, and the one with most authority. JKA is the heir to the Shotokan karate tradition - the Keeper of Karate's Highest Tradition. JKA preserves the soul and spirit of the art of kokufu-bunka karate-do: karate based on the ancient Japanese tradition of Bushido (the way of the samurai).

For information about our clubs see the 'clubs' page.
